Northeast Philadelphia represents 30% of the city’s population. But it’s isolated and hard to access, which significantly limits opportunities for the people and businesses there. The construction of a subway line would radically transform the Northeast, and the city as a whole.
Early studies project that this subway line will carry 124,000 passengers daily and take 83,000 cars off the Roosevelt Boulevard.
